Covid-19: A boon for nature & a bane for human kind

Covid-19 Pandemic has its own admirable side.

    The year 2020 will be marked along with the darkest and infamous incidents of History.

Nobody ever (dreamt of ) thought of ending in such a troublesome situation.Yes, I am 

talking about the pandemic, The Novel Corona Virus. This year I guess many of us had

plans to explore and enjoy the magnificent beauty of the world. Some would have thought of starting a new "Business",etc.But no, this year Mother Nature already had plans and we definitely know about her plans now.Her plan was simple and it was to return the pain she had faced in the hands of the Human Beings.Every country,city and small villages were all locked down as there was no "Anti Material" for this Virus.The only way to stop it from spreading was maintaining social distance from each other,washing your hands on a daily or rather a regular basis,sanitizing your hands time to time,etc were the only things you were to look after to protect yourselves from getting infected.

But when everyone was busy either cursing the virus or engaging themselves in new activities.
Mother Nature was repairing herself.As this lock down also had many positive impacts on the Nature.

The major impacts seen are as follows:

1.  Decrease in Air Pollution: A change that can never be unseen.This change has raised many questions like "is nature sending us some messages?".It has been seen that this change is due to the decrease in the "Particulate Matter 2.5" levels.This form of air pollution is very dangerous as well considered to be carcinogenic.It can enter your blood stream through your lungs and can lead to respiratory problems, Heart Attack and also "Premature Death".According to WHO every year more than 3 million people die due to Chronic lung diseases.So these stats will drastically change this year.

1. Such a drastic change but it is for good.
2. Decrease in Water Pollution: Due to decrease in industrial works,less amount of waste materials is produced which definitely resulted in clean and clear river water.Major changes can be seen if we compare this 2 images of Yamuna river in India.

3. Climate Change: An obvious reason for this is the change in production of Carbon Dioxide(CO2).Due to lockdown, there is huge decrease in use of vehicles(which are considered to be one of the prime of CO2 producers).Also not to forget as all industries are shut down.There was a approximate 5% decrease in its emission.
4. Biodiversity: People are now paying more attention to the nature around them.Wild animals are seen roaming in the streets as if they have come to retrieve what was taken from them.
